CodeMazer is designed with privacy in mind. Here is what we do and do not collect:

Game Progress Data — Stored locally on your device only. Includes level completions, star ratings, and high scores. This data never leaves your device.

App Preferences — Music and sound settings are stored locally on your device.

No Personal Data — We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers.

No Location Data — We do not access your GPS or location.

No Analytics — We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

No Advertising — CodeMazer is ad-free. No ad networks or tracking.

DATA STORAGE

All game data (scores, progress, preferences) is stored exclusively on your local device using Flutter's SharedPreferences. This data:

Is never transmitted to our servers or any third party

Remains on your device unless you uninstall the app or reset progress manually

Is not backed up to cloud services by default

PERMISSIONS

CodeMazer requests no permissions.

We do not request camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or storage permissions.

BACKGROUND SERVICE

CodeMazer uses a background service solely for audio management. This service automatically pauses music when the app goes to the background and resumes it when you return. This service does not collect data, track location, or perform any action other than managing the audio state.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

CodeMazer is suitable for all ages, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal information whatsoever, we are fully compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR-K requirements.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

CodeMazer does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect user data. The app is entirely self-contained.

DATA SECURITY

Since all data remains on your device and is not transmitted anywhere, the security of your data depends on your device's own security measures. We recommend using device-level security such as PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have full control over your data:

Access — Your data is visible through gameplay (scores, stars)

Delete — Go to Settings → Reset All Progress to delete all local data

Portability — Data is stored on your device and remains under your control

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of CodeMazer constitutes acceptance of any updates.
